About us

Church of God in Christ is a member of Evangelical Alliance in Poland, part of the European Evangelical Alliance (EEA).
Our fellowship was established in January 2005 and became officialy registered on April 18th 2005 as Church of God in Christ 'Word of Life' Christian Fellowship in Bialystok.
The church was planted by a couple of Chris and Margaret Gola with a clear vision of evangelism in the city.
God filled our hearts with new things and pointed our eyes towards his vision. Its an apostolic work based on God and his Word. God spoke to us through the following scripture to confirm the things He said earlier:

"I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, [which] shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence, And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth. The LORD hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give thy corn [to be] meat for thine enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy wine, for the which thou hast laboured: But they that have gathered it shall eat it, and praise the LORD; and they that have brought it together shall drink it in the courts of my holiness. Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people. Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward [is] with him, and his work before him. And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.
(Isaiah 62:6-12, King James Version)

We believe that God wants to fulfill everything contained in the quoted passage. It is our desire and goal of life to see it happen. We trust that God called us to fulfill his will and purpose in his power and with His authority. God wants to raise his banner upon the nations, upon Bialystok. He wants to reveal his Name and salvation. We believe that we will fulfill this calling together with the whole body of Christ.
